Confinement techniques are available for a variety of home visit packages including those who have experienced pregnancy loss.

Using science & traditional wisdom combined, receive care and support from an experienced women’s practitioner – Mikaela brings over 16 years working in the field of female health & birthwork, & is a gentle caring presence in your space.

All packages are individually tailored to the needs of the individual, & can be decided on at the time of the visits.

Nourishing, supportive and gentle sessions

I provide personalised home visits for helping your birth or pregnancy loss recovery. These can be stand alone sessions, or as part of a 3 or 5 day package.

Home/virtual visits are 1.5 hours or more, and include typically 2-3 of the following options:

Naturopathy consult and advice for recovery, healing & lactation support
Nutrition support, recipe ideas, supplement reviews
Herbal body treatments - relaxing belly wraps to calm, rejuvenate and tone the uterus and internal organs, body swaddling, yoni steams, herbal baths/foot soaks, moxa
BodyTalk/Reiki treatment (physical and emotional support e.g. new mum anxiety, settling & birth trauma release, pregnancy loss)
Massage techniques for recovery & relaxation
Blood test reviews or referrals to check for adequate levels needed for wellness, healing and optimum mental health
Closing of the bones ceremony (coming soon)

Flower essence tailor made for gentle emotional support
Belly wrap with herbal compress/energy balancing/massage or herbal foot soaks/womb steams if you choose as part of your session
Moxa for toning & warming the abdomen & helping with scar healing
