Nut free for school, and easy to make – get the kids to do it! They freeze well too so you can pull out what you need for each day.
1 cup puffed millet or rice
½ cup desiccated coconut
½ cup sesame seeds
½ cup sunflower seeds
½ cup rice malt/honey
½ cup tahini
1 cup linseed meal
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup chopped dried fruit e.g. apricots or raisins
Mix all dry ingredients, slowly add tahini & honey.
Roll in balls, then in coconut or sesame seeds
**Add raw cacao into the mixes to make chocolately, or orange zest to make orangey. There really are no rules with bliss balls – just get the flavours you like **
