In short

The treatment encourages flow to be restored – of blood, lymph, hormone signalling & energy/chi, so that the body’s own healing mechanisms are assisted back to balance. Each session is tailored to your needs & comfort, and protects your modesty – all massage techniques are external, & you will be covered up for the most part, including during your yoni steam.

I will also help to teach you some self care for using at home as a way to enhance the session – for example castor oil packing, self massage, home remedies, moxa &  postural adjustments. My background knowledge as a naturopath means I can help you find the best ways to help resolve your body symptoms.

*Scar massage is typically recommended after the scar has fully healed, usually around 6-8 weeks post-surgery, and with your healthcare provider’s approval. Even if your C-section was years ago, this therapy can still offer significant benefits.*

What's included

  • Abdominal massage — traditional external massage technique that supports the repositioning of pelvic organs, improves circulation and relieves congestion
  • Abdominal scar release — specific techniques for C-section scars, laparoscopy scars and other abdominal adhesions that can affect organ function and movement
  • Pelvic steaming (yoni steam) *only as part of full 2 hour session. Alternatives available if preferred* — a gentle herbal steam treatment that supports the uterine lining, eases menstrual symptoms and aids post-partum recovery

Please note – this is unsuitable during your period, or are in the ‘2 week wait’ part of trying to conceive (pre-ovulation time is fine – and helpful!)
