Confinement techniques are available for a variety of home visit packages including those who have experienced pregnancy loss. 

In many cultures, the weeks after birth are considered as sacred as the birth itself. A new mother is nourished, held, treated and given time to recover — physically and emotionally — before she’s expected to do anything else.

That’s exactly what these home visits are. I come to you, with everything you need, and I take care of you.

Who this is for

  • New mums who want single or regular visits to support healing after birth
  • Women who've had a C-section and want specific scar and recovery support
  • Anyone from 1 day to 1 year post-birth who needs nurturing and care
  • Mums who are struggling emotionally or physically with the early parenting journey
  • Women who have experienced pregnancy loss and need gentle, compassionate support

What a visit includes

  • (Typically 2-3 of the following):
  • Naturopathy consult — recovery, healing and lactation support
  • Nutrition guidance, recipe ideas and supplement review
  • Herbal body treatments — belly wraps, body swaddling, yoni steams, herbal baths and foot soaks, moxa
  • BodyTalk / Reiki — for anxiety, birth trauma, emotional processing and settling
  • Massage for recovery and relaxation
  • Blood test review or referral
  • Closing of the bones ceremony (a beautiful rite of passage for birth, loss or transition)
  • Flower essence remedy tailored to your emotional needs
  • A nourishing warm herbal drink provided every visit

Optional add-ons:

  • Herbal remedies for healing, energy and emotional support ($30–59)
  • Baby remedies for colic or sleep ($25)
  • Bespoke teas, steam blends and bath soaks
  • Herbal Cacao for deep post-partum nourishment

Visits are 1.5 hours or more. Packages of 3 or 5 visits available. Fees vary by location — enquire here for details.
